Lowel-light Manufacturing, Inc. has updated many of its lighting kits. Some of the kits star the compact new 250w Rifa-44 quick-setup soft light. Several new kits offer four or more lighting instruments and sport a wide array of accessories like reflective umbrellas, scrims, daylight-correction gel packs and frames and reflectors. The company has expanded its line of lighting stands to include the new Uni-TO Stand, which folds down as compactly as the Uni-Stand, but expands to the height of the Omni Stand. Additionally, they have upgraded all their stand and poles with heavier aluminum alloy construction as well as cleverly enlarged collars and locking knobs.

If you prefer fluorescent models, check out the dimmable models of the Lowel Fluo-Tec studio line. They have been electronically upgraded to permit complete dimming control, 0–100%. The all-in-one Caselite fluorescent system has had its mounting system enhanced with new mounting plates and a stand-fitting bracket for flexible options in rotating or mounting of the instruments. Find out more about Lowell products at info@lowel.com or (800) 334-3426.
