Internetional Photography Awards Semi-Annual Winners
Second Half of 1999 Period Ending December 31, 1999

Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) announces the semi-annual winners for the second half of 1999 in its International Photography Awards (IPA). This photographic print competition is open to WPPI members only, and recognizes outstanding achievements in the art of professional wedding and portrait photography.

Each 8x10 print entered was submitted in one of the following 11 categories:

* Bride and Groom Together
* Bride or Groom Alone,
* Bridal Party
* Candid
* Engagement
* Special Effects
* Child
* High School Senior
* Individual
* Group
* Animals/Pets
* Digital (Wedding & Non-wedding

All entries were judged by a select panel of qualified jurists for their photographic impact, artistry and craftsmanship. First-place prints compete with the first-place winners from the second half of 1999 for the prestigious titles of International Wedding Photograph of the Year, and International Portrait of the Year. The recipients will be announced in the April, 2000 WPPI Photography Monthly and will be honored March 23, 2000 at a special Awards Reception during WPPI’s 20th Annual Convention and Trade Show at the Rio Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
